Free Trial Web App File System Storage

Question

I am in the middle of my free trial period and have come up with a resource limitation.  Apparently I am only entitled to 1GB file storage for my Web App and I have exceeded the limit.  My application includes many photos and I will require about another 1GB.  How can I get around this limitation in order to properly check out my app working on Azure?  Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,

This File Storage is the total amount of space you have to store your site and content. If you reach the quota limit, you simply can’t write any new content to the system, I would suggest you change your azure website hosting plan mode, or reduce usage of file system storage below the File System Storage usage quota.

A 1 GB limit seems pretty restrictive for the type of applications I develop.  Just checked AWS and their limit is 5GB and their free trial period is 1 year.  Probably a better option for me at this time.  Thanks....
