Program open/close animation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi. Is it possible to implement in WM6.5 animations of opening/closing windows of programms, as in PocketMusic (5.3.5)? Dear developers have to implement it, please. The impressive effect, like Windows Aero.

  • Hi

in windows mobile you can't get the rich animation effect you have to use the windows graphics for that.

with windows graphics you can create some animation effects. like you have to override the controls default properties.

  • Good idea is to override form's OnLoad + OnPaint + OnPaintBackground along with getting native screen DC. But it may require a lot of job (and device's memory). Just a clue, never did that on WM.

If You think You know better then me, why is Your code not working, then don't waste my time at this forum. Otherwise - do as I'm suggesting.

  • Hi Freeloader,

Windows mobile doesn't support gif animation  effect, we have to all these animations ourselves. For more information:
