Editing Project server 2010 sites in SharePoint Designer RRS feed

  • Question

  • All,

Do we know if we can edit/customise project server sites in 2010 using SharePoint Designer? I am getting the site is locked down message when I do so. I know in PS 2007, this is not allowed. Was just wondering if any of you has managed to do this.

I want to be able to create some SharePoint workflows attached to SP lists created on PS site.

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Regards,

    Naweed

  • As in 2007, the master pages in 2010 are locked down by design due to the fact that there is alot of logic built into the main pwa pages.   There are ways to get around that but they are not supported.

  • Thanks for your response.

I have created a subsite under the main pwa and use SPD to apply workflows to my custom lists.

    Thanks.
