Is Crystal Reports for Dotnet v10.5 redistributable? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I am wondering if Crystal reports for Dotnet v10.5 requires any kind of deployment licences or not, while deploying Dotnet application?

Is it true that while deploying dotnet application, to include Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2008 as a prerequisite, we require deployment licences of crystal reports?

    Thanks in advance,

See this White Paper Blair Wheadon who is a SAP Crystal Reports Solution Manager and has explained in one paper how all of the Distribution licensing works from CR 8.5 to CR for VS 2010 as well as all of the CR for Visual Studio products.

    Thank you

  • Looks like .Net Framework based reports require a corresponding Crystal Reports runtime. It's free,  according to my recent download of a PowerShell based reporting tool (CrystalPower) from  http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=crystalpower&tag=srch&searchtype=downloads.
