Outlook 2013 with Indexing pst file on a network drive RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

Running Windows Server 2012 with Outlook 2013.

I am trying to index pst file in a network drive.  The network drive is mapped to a letter.  I have mounted it on Outlook.  The Windows Search service has been installed and running. The search is running correctly for emails on the mailbox.  However, when I try to add the pst file on the network drive, I cannot because the "Show all locations" button is disabled/greyed out on the Indexing Options window from the Control Panel or through Outlook.  The "Change selected locations" window does not show the mapped drive".

When I was running Outlook 2010 on Windows 2003 R2, there wasn't this issue.

    Appreciate any assistance.  Thanks.
