  • Hi,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to Storage Outage. Our internal team are working round the clock and we have made some good progress.

A fix has been applied across the affected environment. Customers should start seeing availability improvement across all regions. Some affected customers may still see intermittent impact. Starting at 19 Nov 2014 00:52 UTC we are experiencing a connectivity issue across multiple Azure Services, including Storage, Virtual Machines, SQL Geo-Restore, SQL Import/export, Websites, Azure Search, Azure Cache, Management Portal, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Visual Studio, Machine Learning, HDInsight, Automation, Virtual Network, Stream Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Active Directory, StorSimple and Azure Backup Services.

  • Hi Sir,

Are you still seeing this issue? At this point, the service should be almost entirely restored and if your VM still cannot start, try hitting restart on the VM and see if that resolves it. If you are still facing issues, I would recommend you create a new MSDN thread so we can jump on it quickly.

    Regards,

    Will
