Azure MSDN Credit + O365 Developer Tenant? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Not sure if this is where I need to be for this, but here's the scenario:

    • I have successfully set up my own O365 development tenant, which includes Azure AD.
    • I also have activated my $150/month MSDN/Visual Studio Enterprise credit for Azure.

What I can't do is connect the two.  When I go to the Azure portal, the Azure AD button takes me to our production domain.  The rest of Azure is empty, so I'm in my own "place", but I'd like to change it to point to my developer tenant's AD, not our production AD.

Hitting the "Switch directory" button gives the following:

    Global subscription filter
The portal will show data only for these subscriptions.
Visual Studio Enterprise - Don't see a subscription? Switch to another directory.

    Current directory: <our production domain>

I'd like to create a VM or two and join them to the developer tenant for some dev work, but am apparently unable to do so?

Any suggestions, including the correct forum in which to ask would be appreciated!

    -Chris
