Replacing a Project with an offline version? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

    Quick question,

Is there a way to replace a project (Enterprise Object) that is on the Project Server with a local/offline copy?

The online version seems to be corrupted and we have a copy of the project on a local hard drive. If it can be done, will it still be linked to the project workspace and will all the resources stay intact?

    Thanks in advance.

  • It can be done, but it's been a while since I have.  My guess would be that
you would first go into the site management section of Server Settings and
unlink the workspace.  Then delete the project from draft and published.
Import the new project, go back into the site management and relink to the
    new workspace.

Try that in a Test environment first though.
