  • Thanks <g class="gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="9" id="9">prathaprabhu</g>.

I'm interested in Windows Server and SQL Server. Are there any options for obtaining licenses to run them (with perhaps limited connections) that do not expire. Or what does the independent/individual consultant do to learn and support Microsoft server products short of spending $3,000 for the Visual Studio Enterprise license?

Also, the page you linked to only has Enterprise and Professional licenses (annual and monthly payments).

    Dear Karl,

From the same link "https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/pricing/" check the Tab "Standard Subscriptions" "MSDN Platforms" has "Windows, Windows Server, Windows Embedded, Microsoft SQL Server, R Server" and here is the link to the complete list of available products based on the level.
