Silverlight player with Video Bit Monitoring RRS feed

  • Hi ,

    Could anyone tell me how could I develop a silverlight player with bit rate monitoring displayed along with basic controls like(play , pause etc)


    or 

    Could anyone tell where could I download a player(XAP file ) with all these features

    Thanks for your response.I am new to this just let me know if I am doing correct.

    1.)I followed the link you mentioned and downloaded the following zip file

    Silverlight-IIS-SmoothStreaming-SampleApp.zip

    Later I copied the Smooth Streaming Client Silverlight 4.xap file ,html file and placed in my local IIS server setup.

    Now my html is pointing to newly copied XAP file and now when I am trying to run this html file just the player comes up in the browser but doesn't play any video.

    Note: I am able play the video if I use my basic SmoothStreamingPlayer.xap which I was using before.

    2.)Just want let to you know  I am expecting player with features similar to following player used in  microsoft experince smoothstreaming website. Whether the player you mentioned would display all these features (like seeing the bit rate while playing video,bit rate throttling to check for adaptiveness)
