W7 x64 Laptop - 5 minutes to resume from hibernate?! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Evening all,

I've got an issue with my x64 Windows 7 laptop (Home Prem.). Booting from cold, I'm at the desktop in under 30 seconds. Resuming from sleep, I'm at the login screen within 10 seconds. Resuming from hibernate, 5 minutes!!

I've run a performance trace, and uploaded the output as a zip (12mb, link below). I'd be hugely grateful if anyone could help please, since to my untrained eye the trace just seems to show a big pause with no clear cause.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

  • What did you capture on the performance trace? Did you run xbootmgr?
