Error in migrating data from Oracle 7.3.4 to SQL Server 2008 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are using SSMA 5.2 to migrate database from Oracle 7.3.4 to SQL Server 2008. It is smooth in convering and synchronizing objects. However, when doing data migration, an error "ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis" occurred if the Oracle table contains NUMBER column. We've tried to migrate table without NUMBER column and it can done successfully. Please advise.

  • Hi Andy,

NUMBER column is a column name. What is the column type?
