Remove azure active directory premium p2


  • Hi,

    I have just activated premium license as a trial version from office 365 Azure AD.

    But now i want to remove that license so how i can remove that.

  • You can't remove the license, but it will expire... And then it will be removed.
    Just make sure that no users has an assigned license and you should be fine...

    The expired subscription will send several notifications. But you can just ignore them because the subscription may be deleted automatically after 90 days (no later than 180 days).

  • Note that even when they expire, these licences can prevent you from deleting the AAD tenant ( I know this from experience). If this is the case the only way to resolve it is to contact the Office 365 support team (yes, Office 365, they handle AAD premium support, not the Azure team).
