Visual Studio 2015 community : MSVCP110D.dll and MSVCR110D.dll RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey guys,

Im new to VS and trying to work on opencv programs.

When I try to compile and run my code it show that MSVCP110D.dll and MSVCR110D.dll are missing. It asks me to install them first and restart the program.

Does anyone know how to overcome this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi itsmrn,

The MSVCP110D.dll and MSVCR110D.dll are generated when debug and it is generated with difference version of Visual Studio. The "110D" behind the MSVCP means these dlls are generated by VS2012.
Please re-build all referenced dlls in your project with VS2015. If there has some dlls are third part, please contact the authors or using VS2012 to program your opencv project.

In addition, please modify the "Platform Toolset" (Right-Click -> Properties -> General) to Visual Studio 2012. Or you can install Visual Studio 2012 to run your program.

    Best Regards,
