Setting X axis and Y axis fonts at runtime. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am using reportviewer to show a local report in my Asp.net application.
Its a simple one , with a 3d bar view for scores of students.(top 10 students).

so that is not a problem at the moment.

My boss wants me to configure the report in such a manner that the fonts can be set at runtime.
his idea is to keep the fontname in a table in the backend and send it to the report.
    same with the color.

I tried searching a lot but did not find a expected solution.

    Any help is reallly appreciated.

    Thanking in advance,
    Swammingo.

  • Although not explicitly documented, you can use RDL expressions to dynamically set the font name or font sizes at runtime, e.g. =iif( <some condition>, "Arial", "Verdana")
