Does Store still accepts Windows 8 apps?

Hello,

I would like to know whether Windows Store still accepts Windows 8 apps, or it accepts only 8.1 ? This is important for my customer, in order to understand whether he has to upgrade to Win 8.1 + VS 2013.

Yes the store does still accept win 8 packages.

Package format requirements

Your app’s packages must comply with these  requirements.

App package property	Requirement
Package size	App bundles: 25 GB maximum per bundle App packages targeting Windows 8.1: 8 GB maximum per package App packages targeting Windows 8: 2 GB maximum per package

Not sure how long they will accept win 8 apps.  Remember Win 8.1 is a free upgrade so I would expect most people will do the upgrade.
