Expose Window service methods for use in WCF service RRS feed

  • I have a WCF service on a server, which is initiated by some client machine. Now i have to make a window service, which will be running on the server and will be initiated by the WCF service locally. How can i make this window service, so that i can access its methods from the WCF service.

  • Hi, If the service is not hosted in the windows service, you can utilize netNamedPipeBinding to do inter process communication.

  • The window service can be directly started using service controller. Also arguments can be passed if required.
