  • Question

  • Hi All

We moved our server from the third floor to the second yesterday, we unplugged our server which hosts Exchange 2007 and re-plugged it back in, everything is working fine except MS Exchange is no longer receiving external emails and Remote Web Workspace has stopped working.

Is there anything I can do to check the settings to diagnose it? We didnt make any changes to it when unplugging it and moving it.

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks

  • What is the status of Send Connector?
Check the permissions on Receive Connector and post the permission and authentication?

  • Since physical location is apparently the only change, the network is the first thing I would look at. Are there any new devices in the path between the server on the second floor and the Internet that were not present before the move? Something may be blocking your port 25 traffic from outside. You could attempt a telnet test to verify. Also ensure all of the Exchange services are started on the Exchange Server, sometimes upon startup not all required services start. Does the event log lend any clues?
