Line Continuation? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a Line Continuation character for SB? I would like to have long lines continue on the next line in the Window.

    Thanks,

  • No, I don't think there is.  The lines can be pretty long if needed, but most overly long lines can be broken into a set of shorter statements that are easier to read.

    You can also use <Ctrl> + Mouse Wheel to change the font size to help view long lines.

    Me too. It would be a nice to have for next versions :)

    Currently, you can use work arounds like :

    * Spliting your strings in differents sub-strings

    If X = "some very long line due to a very long string" Then
        ==>
    Const1 = "some very long line "
    Const1 = Const1 + "due to a  very "
    Const1 = Const1 + "long string"
    [...]
    If X = Const 1 Then

    * Zooming in/out with the mousewheel, as litdev stated.
