Conflict after Framework 4.5 desinstallation before new installation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I didn't found the same errors I have.
After installing a driver update to my grafic card AMD HD5800 Series, the grafic window of my CAO software Autodesk Inventor is no more readable, see pictures. All other applications are well fonctioning.
Trying to go back and install an older driver, AMD asked to desinstall and reinstall Net.Framework 4.5. This operation is not possible. I wanted to join pictures with the errors message frome Framework but the message "Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify your account"

I try with Framework repair tool, but I could remove the rest of Framework.

I tryed to clean and repair with CCleaner without success.
I tryed to clean and repair with Glary Utilities Maintenance one click without success. I asked Glary Soft if some utilities could clean and repair, the answer is not. Ask Framework developper.
What should I do to remove every thing from Net.framework to be able to install it new with an older driver AMD?

I'm 60 years old and not specialist in computer. Please explain clearly what I should do. Eventual, is it possible using Teamviewer that you procede to the correction?

    Precision: system Windows 7-64

    In advance thank you

    Best regards

  • Actually, the verifier shows this:

[11/27/13,17:47:20] Install state for .NET Framework 4.5:
    installed with no service packs.

[11/27/13,17:47:20] Install state for .NET Framework 4.5.1:
    installed with no service packs.

Please rerun the verifier with .NET 4.5 selected, then post only the LAST 15 lines of the log here.

If the verifier finds no issues with 4.5, you'll need to contact AMD tech support about their driver installer.

  • "I'm not authorized to share a link on this page or pictures"

You can provide the link by putting a space in it, then posting it a plain text.

  • Hi

Why can I not insert link or pictures? Forum says, that my account is not verified, but I clicked on the link I received by mail.

Here the link. The link was also refused with spaces

  • Hi

Thank a lot for the time.

    I found 2 errors:

    - a "." must be put between skydrive and live

    - 764AE85EA152E1D1 in place of 764E85EA1252E1D1

Thank for the idea to remove hyperlink format.

    Without hyperlink:

I hope it will fonction now.

  • The link worked, but I find no install log for .NET Framework 4.5.

I found the log for 4.0, and it indicates that 4.0 is installed on your system.

Please retry the .NET 4.5 install again using this download:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40779

After running the off-line installer rerun Collect.exe if it fails, then put the vslogs.cab file up on your skydrive and post the link here.

  • Hi,

    Thanks.

I think the reason, you don't find Famework 4.5 is that I sesinstall it as AMD said me. I make so much trials with desinstallation and re-installation to try to install an older driver for my grafic card, or I didn't copy all the files. I copied last time only Temp and not Window for the collection.

    Now, I run

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

and paste the 15 or more first and last lines here, after the link for skydrive.

In the data collection I had the file with the collection.

I hope this time it will be OK.

I tried Autodesk Inventor after the download, but had always the same problem.

  • Hello

Thank you for all the answers.

Last saturday, I asked Microsoft Support to try to resolve the problem. After 3 hours saturday  and 2 hours monday  in remote modus, with support level 2, the problem is resolved.

I thank here again the Microsoft support. It cost me 99$, but now I can use again my software.
