DeviceStatusCheck failing on every DF test during HCK testing of a bluetooth keyboard RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

I am performing HCK tests on two bluetooth keyboards (by two vendors)

Clients is Win8 laptop and win8 tablet (not simultaneously of course)

Every DF test fails during DeviceStatusCheck. Te.wtl log file contains error:

WDTF_SIMPLE_IO : BLUETOOTHSimpleIO.Bluetooth.1 SetTarget() ERROR : BluetoothPlugin: SetTarget() - CreateFile() failed to open a handle to the Bluetooth device with SymbolicLink \\?\bthledevice#{00001800-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_dev_vid&0100d2_pid&0580_rev&0100_091109110911#9&220b6c1a&7&0001#{00001800-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb} Win32=5 - Access is denied. Win32=5 - Access is denied.

Fail (with the same error log) occurs for both keyboards tested on both clients.

ProcessExitStatus found in the detailed logs of HCK Manager Job monitor is -2113819208.

Firewall is disabled on the client, user account is enabled.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

    Thank you in advance,
