What does this icon mean? RRS feed

  • Question

  • On a visual C# project, I found these icons on the controls (buttons, labels, everything.).

On the upper left corner of each controls, there are what looks like two tiny rectangles with a small curved arrow.

    What does that mean?

  • Hi jaybeev,

This is because the button is inherited from a userControl, not the Button Class and it is not a Custom Control.

If you create a userControl which is inherited from another usercontrol, you will get it in design time in the visual studio.

    Best Regards
