How to Avoid Cartesian Product RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I haven't used Access in a while and I guess I forgot how some of the basics work.  Ugh.  I have a setup like this.  All tables have 'Cost_Center'.  I was expecting to see 5 records returned, but instead I get 625 records.  What is the fix for this?

  • I guess the Cost Center records in the 'Map_Unit_Prov_to_Unit_Recv' have to be unique, otherwise you'll get all kinds of dupe data.  It's been a while since I've done this, but that makes sense.  Is this right?

    Thanks.
