Exporting the Resource Utilization Graph RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am new to the usage of MS Project. We currently have Project 2010 professional. Our usage of MS Project is slightly different and is used to keep tack of each project under each resource. For this reason, we would like to export the Resource Utilization graph into an excel spreadhseet. Please can anyone guide me on how this can be done? Is it possible at all?

At present, we are printing this information to a PDF and then trying to get the data we need. I am asked to find out if we can directly get this information in a spreadsheet, perhaps with a little bit of programming if need be.

    Any advice is appriciated.

    Thanks in advance,

  • Hi R,

have you ever tried to use a Visula report for this purpose (Project - Visual Resports, e.g. Resource Work Summary Report)

This will open an Excel workbook, with a Pivot table on one sheet and a Pivot graph on the otehr. You can change appearance as required.

    Does that help?
