How do I tell when a user has clicked "Insert New Comment" on the ribbon in Word 2013? RRS feed

  • Thanks for reading this.

I have created a macro that exports all the comments in a Word document to Excel.

The only problem I have is if the user adds a new comment after exporting the comments by running the macro.  I'd like to be able to insert a row in the Excel spreadsheet for the new comment.  (It is important, that the ordering of the comments in the spreadsheet matches the order of the comments in the Word document.)

Could you please tell me how to tell when the user has inserted a new comment in the open Word document?

    Thanks in advance!
