Question

Is there a profile out there or does someone have the settings needed so I can create a Xbox One profile for the simulator?

No, there is not support for Xbox One in the VS 2015 simulator. You will need to use a physical Xbox One console for your development scenarios.

Hi AEON Soft,
You should be able to create a profile on the console for use. Once your console is in Dev mode, double tap the Nexus button to bring out the guide and select "Add & Manage", then "Add new" to start the profile creation flow. You can then sing in and use this account in your UWP app.

Let me clarify, I need a device profile for the Visual Studio 2015 simulator. For instance, a while back I was able to find a Surface Pro 3 profile which was 12" 2160x1440 (3:2, 140%). I need something similar for Xbox One so I can run in test in the simulator before deploying.Monday, May 23, 2016 5:51 PM
