IE Add-in Causes webpage to crash RRS feed

  • I hope I have this question in the correct group. We have a number of customers who were working fine until about three weeks ago, and we think we have narrowed it down to a windows 10 company build with a specific version of IE. But we don't know why a company build would work for years and then suddenly throw up this error.

    The customer put's their NHS smartcard into a reader and all the handshakes with the hosted sites are completed (we have a wireshark network trace to prove this). The customer is not authenticated to the website because an IE add-in called from Java (the issue occurs whatever version of Java is installed) causes the webpage to crash.

    I suppose my question would be can I instigate a trace or a log of the Add-in and if I can where would the trace/log be recorded.
