Hey Guys,
Is there any instruction or sites that you can refer me to that gives step by step instructions on uploading the Classified Starter Kit to www.1and1.com
Please help me.

Go to http://www.asp.net/downloads/starter-kits/classifieds/ once you download double click on it. It will A ZIP FILE INTO THE VS2005/ Templates folder. you can also click view files. Don t forget to click as answerTuesday, March 25, 2008 12:32 PM -

What kind of instructions do you need exactly?
mainly if you got it running on your localhost then the only change that is usually needed is in the web.config to change database and smtp settings...
Just ftp the files to your host

Sorry Guys! It looks like the Classified Kit is not compatible with 1and1.com
They don't support sql 2005...that sounds kinda weak to me!

I have several sites developed locally on SQLexpress 2005 and hosted on sql 2000 (some including aspnet membership)
Using Database publishing Wizard (free download) you can script your database files for backward compatibility if required - by stipulating that the scripts should be 'scripted for sql2000'
If you have purchased a hosting package it may still be possible to use it
