Is it ok to share some "work in progress" peeks or are these forums limited to technical questions? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  •      Hi Everybody!!!

I've been looking around and I haven't found a list of "rules" that need to be followed in regards to post's content in these forums. In the good ol' AppHub, we were welcomed to share some screenshots and videos of games in a "work-in-progress" status. Just to err on the safe side, I thought about asking: Is it ok to share some "work in progress" peeks or are these forums limited to technical questions?

         Thanks!!!

         Best Regards,

  • It depends on the feedback you're looking for. If you're basically advertising the app, then it's considered spam and will be deleted. If you want feedback on a particular aspect of your app, then post it as a discussion and make it clear exactly what you're asking for.

If my reply answers your question, please mark this post as answered.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
