Can't use Start/Stop VM's because my automation account is never detected RRS feed

  • As the title suggests, I'm having difficulty using the start/stop VM's in the Automation feature of Azure as my existing automation account is never detected. Even when I create a new automation account directly from the Start/Stop VM's solution it's still not detected.

  • Thanks for reaching out! It's weird that the automation account not being detected. To reproduce the issue from our end, can you please share below details?

    1) In which location the existing Automation account lies and also the provide the locatio of log analytics you are using

    2) Please provide the location of the new automation account and log analytics worksapce you are using?
