error when i install Windows developer (Error 0x80070570)

    Question

  • when i start installing windows developer preview 

    i found this massege

     

    Windows developer preview Installation failed because of Error 0x80070570. Error Message: Windows cannot install required files, they may be corrupt or missing.

    what shall i do to fix this problem ?

  • The error you got says that there are missing or corrupt files, which likely means that you got a bad burn on your ISO, and should try to reburn your media.  If it still doesn't work, there's a thread that gives good directions on how to use USB media instead. 

    One more note, if you ended up doing what Amy suggested, and you download the Windows Developer Preview with tools, you'll need a DVD-9 formatted disk.

  • Can you provide a little more information on this? What are the specs of the machine you are trying to install on? How are you installing? (Via media, virtual drive, etc.)

    First, try to re-download the installation package for Windows Developer Preview. Second, format the partition you wish to install Windows Developer Preview on. Do you still receive the same error?

  • sorry for being late because i feel hopeless

    i have downloaded 

     

    Windows Developer Preview English, 32-bit (x86)

    then i burnt it to a dvd 8X

     

    then i put the dvd and it starts well

    i have formatted C partition 

    and it starts installing 

    when it expanding files it stops at 65% 

    and show the message above

    the machine specs is

    cpu 2.5 dual core

    memory 2 GB

    HDD 640GB

    video card : ATI Radeon HD 5500

    i will try to download it again
