  • I have visual studio 2013, I am wanting to make a skype program but skype class is not in the com components. Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • According to this thread in the Skype forum, the DLL is called Skype4Com.dll and should be in the 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Skype' or 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Skype' folder.

    You might want to check with Skype and see if they have an API available. I don't know but my guess is that they do (and, moreover, that any use other than that is against their terms of use).

    Still lost in code, just at a little higher level.
