Mapi and Outlook 2003 problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have two problems with the use of the MAPI and Outlook 2003.
Before creating the e-mail it asks that a program of third parts intends to send a mail.
As it is posibile to eliminate this message?
Examining the e-mail produced in "mail in exit", the mail recipient  is among apexes and it supposes that it is present in the contacts. I must eliminate the apexes to do so that the e-mail is correctly sent.

    thanks

  • Hi Danielito,

the best way to circumvent the Security-limititions of Outlook is to use the REDEMPTION library. Using that will also simplify mail-creation and your other problem will also be gone ;)

  • Ok, so next step is to just READ THE DOCUMENTATION ;)  at http://www.dimastr.com/redemption/objects.htm
Following those EXAMPLES shouldn't be too difficult...  Any programmer should be able to just assign some properties and call some methods.  Thus: a little bit of work is stil left to you as exercise ;)

Usually I solve problems with outlook with the aid of one tool, which I found out at   one soft blog. Utility might relieve in this situation quite effectively -  restore outlook .
