Accessing SQL server on same wifi network RRS feed

  • I have 5 SQL server, how to connect all of them on same wifi network and access data?

  • Hello,

    It seems you don’t have an Active Directory domain or any Windows Server server. Is seems to me we are talking about a Workgroup environment. If this is the case, please take in consideration the following:

    1.     Configure all computers for SQL Server access.  (Click here)

    2.     Use statics IPs. Add ip/hostname of each computer in the hosts file of each computer. (Click here)

    3.     Create a SQL login on each SQL Server instance to get connected to them.

    4.     Enable/start SQL Server Browser on each named instance.
