  • You can try the USB 3.0 host controller of INTEL. As I known, there was a filter for Intel.
Actually, your device should skip this item or it is usb 3.0 webcam?

  • Hi Lester,

    Thanks for your reply.

The host controller that I am using is Renesas, Asmedia and Fresco. I will see if I can find a intel usb3 host controller...

Could you please explain why device could skip this item?

It is a USB 3.0 camera for multipurpose.

    Thank you,

    Jason

  • Well,  you can skip the item if your device is usb 2.0

You can refer to the errata 775 which is a filter for Intel U3 host controller.

    Here is filter 775 saying:

Hub upstream port link goes to U2 with all functions suspended, even though the hub's feature U2_ENABLE(a feature of all USB3 device) is currently disabled. There is a spec ambiguity and the device implementation differs slightly from test's expectations.

    Expire: 2/1/2014

Test will be updated to accommodate others interpretations of the spec.
