PowerPivot Report doesn't work in SharePoint because of Microsoft Access data source? RRS feed

  • Hello everyone,

    I created a few powerpivot reports with Access tables and queries as datasources, they work fine in Excel but they work when imported to SharePoint. The Sharepoint administrator said that is because Sharepoint doesn't support datasources from Access. Is there a workaround for this, or is this even correct? it seems that if we are able to use access as a datasource we should be able to use the reports in SharePoint. The report imported fine, but the slices and refresh set up doesn't work. Any help or feedback would be trully appreciated.
