Explorer File Browser - Metro user interface Explorer file browser

    General discussion

  • 1. I noticed that Metro UI does not have a explorer file browser yet and opens a ribbon explorer in the classic UI.

    2. The list of installed programs only has a a-z listing.

I think the solution for both is a MetroUI Column Tree view Simular to OSX with the Windows 7 colapable address bar on top

  • Hey, you can search trough files with Metro UI using the WindowsKey + Q KeyCombination.

  • my post is not about searching though files. its about browsng though files. When you want a directory tree of the folders or start menu. I think the way the OSX colums view expands out the list would be effective for MetroUI

  • Right click or slightly drag down a ‘tile’ of one of the desktop application, tap or click ‘advanced’. Click or tap ‘open file location’.
