How to call a biztalk WCF service from fiddler? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have created a BizTalk application and publish using WCF service publish wizard to the administration panel. How to call and test service.svc using a fiddler?

    All you need to do is set the proxy settings and port configuration fiddler by default using, you can start monitoring the Biztalk traffic with Fiddler.

    You can use tools like SOAP UI to test your BizTalk WCF service. This doesn't require any changes in your BizTalk application

    But If you want to test it through Fiddler - Then you need to modify your proxy settings in your receive location(Refer for the steps) and then only you will be able to test it.

  • Postman might be easier...well, it will be easier. :)

    So, this is a situation where the answer is...you just do.  It's not really complicated at all once you see the UI.

    Is it SOAP, REST, plain http?
