    I don't believe that Web API on it's own has a specific limitation for the number of concurrent requests, however, your web server (such as IIS) might. You can override these by setting the maximum number of allowed connections within the configuration as seen below using the maxconnection attribute :

    <configuration>
      <system.net>
        <connectionManagement>
          <add address="*" maxconnection="50000"/>
        </connectionManagement>
      </system.net>
    </configuration>

    If you are concerned about throttling or limiting the number of connections programatically (or by source), you might consider looking into a project like this Web API throttle handler that can be used to set limits based on all sorts of criteria.
