    I have been tasked with migrating data from a file server to Sharepoint.  Currently the data is organized in seperate folders.  There are about 120 folders.


    Should I create one document library and recreate the folders and move data over that way or should I create a seperate document library for each directory?  My own experience shows that I should create seperate document libraries so that I can better manage security.  I can also create document specific metadata fields and templates for each type of content.


    I guess this is one of those cases where you can solve a problem several different ways, but you need a little confirmation from others to assure that your choice of resolution is the widely accepted practice.
