Batch file to Clean BSP RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

    OS:Compact 7

Before releasing the BSP I would like to cleanup the BSP and then release it.

So, I would like to remove unwanted files like

    1. *.bif
    2. build.*
    3. bldsys.*
    4. *.bak,
    5. obj folders and
    6. hidden .svn (SUB Version) folders to be removed

I have started writing my own batch file.

I am successful in achieving the first four.  Looks I need to remove obj and .svn files I don't know how to do it as of now.

Is there any option that PB already supports this feature?

  • There's a batch (%_WINCEROOT%\PUBLIC\COMMON\OAK\MISC\cleanos.bat) which cleans (among the others tree) the target\lib BSP folders.

I think there's nothing ready to use to remove the .svn folders since PB does not know that you're using SVN.

By the way, if you are using SVN, you can 'export' your code rather than 'check(ing)out' it: you get the tree on the repo without the .svn files/folders. In addition, your repo should not include any build product (obj, build.*) so the result of the export should be what you need

  • Hi Luca,

Thank You for the reply and your time.

I understand what you are telling.

Basically I need to commit the require files to SVN and use export option.

So, that the cleanup process can be removed.

    Thank You & Regards,
