Report : How to display intermediate cumulative sum by page footer and total sum on report footer? RRS feed

    On a report, how to display

    1. intermediate cumulative sums by page footer, that is,  
    • on the first page sum for the first page displayed records ,
    • On the second page,  sum of displayed records on the second page + records of the first page,
    • And so on
    1. total sums on report footer, that is, sums of all fields values  the detail area

  • I don't think there is an easy way to show cumulative values by page. Maybe one alternative is to show cumulative results for each record, which is readily available using the Running Sum feature.

    According to your description, you could put a control in the details carrying the amount to be summed, and make it a Running Sum Over All and invisible. Name it something appropriate. Then put a control in the page footer calling the running sum control name. This will give you the overall cumulative amount for everything through each page, refer to below helpful link:
