previously purchased apps RRS feed

  • Question

  • Only a couple of months after buying my laptop I had to format and reload it. The first time I went though the registration process on my computer I used one email address. The second time I went through the process, after formatting the computer, the previous email address I had used was rejected (something about a domain?) So I finished the registration with a different email address.

When I had first gotten my computer I had purchased several apps. Some were utilities and some were games for my granddaughter. After formatting, and having to use a different email address, I tried to go back and re-download the apps that I had previously purchased. The Microsoft App Store required that I purchase them again.

I want my apps back, but I don't want to have to pay for them a second time.

Is there a solution to my problem, or am I just stuck?

The MSDN Windows Store app development forums are for developers to discuss writing their own apps. We cannot help with account issues.
