Unable to uninstall / deactivate / upgrade, installed infopath template

    Question

  • Hi,

    Need Help,

We have InfoPath forms already deployed to SharePoint 2013 Farm, now we would like to update / upgrade the same, but we were getting error

"The following form template cannot be upgraded because it is not currently uploaded on this farm: urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:Reallocation:-myXSD-2010-03-31T05-59-04"

While removing we are getting error

"This form template was deployed as part of the  feature.  This form template should be removed only by uninstalling that feature."

we have deactivated feature via powershell but still its status showing it is online

while uninstalling that feature we are getting below error

"Uninstall-SPInfoPathFormTemplate : This form template was deployed as part of
the  feature.  This form template should be removed only by uninstalling that
    feature."

Current Status of that infopath form template

  • Finally After 2 days i am able to resolve this issue using below steps

--Search Farm object with infopath Form ID like %urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:misc:-myXSD-2010-03-31T05-59-04% ##
    SELECT TOP 1000 [Id]
          ,[ClassId]
          ,[ParentId]
          ,[Name]
          ,[Status]
          ,[Version]
          ,[Properties]
      FROM [SharePoint_Config].[dbo].[Objects]
      where [Properties] like '%urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:misc:-myXSD-2010-03-31T05-59-04%'
-- now you will get ouput with one ID and its Parent ID Select That ID and run below command

     Select * FROM [SharePoint_Config].[dbo].[Objects]
     where [ParentId] = '6E38FD10-D7AF-4754-9A73-1D42E5A83A5B'

-- now you will get one more object ID, delete this object ID using below command
     delete FROM [SharePoint_Config].[dbo].[Objects]
     where [ParentId] = 'A09D77FD-9A5C-4FBD-9497-C84FB07DBF65'

--now delete previously collected object ID with below command
     delete FROM [SharePoint_Config].[dbo].[Objects]
     where [ParentId] = '6E38FD10-D7AF-4754-9A73-1D42E5A83A5B'
