Can I have a tool to detect one specific driver?? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Screenario:

Many updated drivers are installed on Windows , however driver defect  might lead hardware to not support S3/S4(sleep | hibernate).

The problem is , there are too many drivers , to find out which driver is the criminal , we have to install driver one by one . This way could cost us much time .

Could I have a tool to know why OS couldn't enter S3/S4??Which driver or device impact this function ??

  • Look at the PowerCfg tool. It will tell you which driver is vetoing a power request
