cube ssas not saved RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi experts,

I used SSDT to create a cube… it also created the tables in sql server…, I checked in ssms and in the ‘db engine’ I saw the tables created in the database.

So, I closed SSDT, and asked me to save what I thought it was only ‘the diagram’, and I didn’t need the diagram, so I didn’t save it….. I opened SSAS but the cube is not there, is there any way I can get it back?

  • Only if you've saved the project or deployed to server, you can get it back.

  • I did not... is there any way of recreating it? I mean... that cube created a set of tables on the 'db engine', isn't a way of converting it back to a cube??
