IIS7 CKFinder File Upload Permission RRS feed

Using IIS7 on Windows 2008 R2 I have a web application called "Customer Sites". I use ckfinder to do the file upload. The strange thing is that when the file is uploaded and I look at the permission it has "Customer Sites" in the security. I dont have a user named "Customer Sites" so im not quite sure. Problem I have is that ckfinder wont allow me to delete or rename the file unless the "Customer Sites" is also an owner with Full Control of the new file. I have some other files that I manually put on the server and i can rename/delete them because they arent owned by "Customer Sites" Can anyone give me advice on why its using my site name in the security and how to fix this. Thanks

    Hi,

So do you mean that after file upload, you want rename the file on the server? Or rename it in web application?

If want rename it on the server, I think the issue is you may not grant IIS_IUSRS full permission.

To grant IIS_IUSRS permission and understanding Built-In User and Group Accounts in IIS 7, refer:
