Paste image into rich text textbox, Access 2010? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm not having any luck pasting an image into an Access 2010 rich text field. Is this not possible?

Hyperlinks that are pasted in are fine.

  • As the word "Text" in Rich Text" suggests, this is not about images. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access-help/insert-or-add-a-rich-text-field-HA010014097.aspx

  • Thanks. The article you reference is for Access 2007, and shows a mini-toolbar appearing with formatting controls. I don't see that in Access 2010? I have the ribbon turned off (custom ribbon with nothing on it), does that also remove the mini-toolbar feature, or is it just that Access 2010 does not have the mini toolbar?

  • Nevermind, the mini toolbar does exist in Access 2010. It's a very strange implementation...you must select some text, and then move your mouse cursor towards the upper right, around where the mini toolbox will eventually appear, and it will slowly fade into visibility...at least it is there.
