Calling an URL without opening a browser RRS feed

  • I want to send a command to a device with a build in webbrouwser without opening a browser application.

    I want to use an excell button for it.

    any suggestions?

    Based on your description, your issue is not related to Excel Object Model. I'll move it to Visual Basic Application forum for better support.

    In order to make your issue clear, you'll need to provide more detailed information on

    • what kind of device you're working on
    • what's the web browser in that device

    You can use userform for that and give command from wherever you want.

     UserForm1.WebBrowser1.Navigate "http://google.com".

    web browser will open in background.
