Query Azure Table Storage with R

    Question

  • Since R is now acquired by Microsoft, is it possible (in a simple way) to use R to query / analyze Azure Tables in Azure Storage?

Update: The question I want an answer to is just how to connect R to Azure Table Storage.  Once I am able to load the data into R so I can run analysis on it I am happy.

I am aware the Azure Tables are not meant for advanced querying. That's why I want to do the advanced stuff in R.
